Default Warhead Out of Control Problem

My warhead is running itself. Im not sure if I have a problem with tuning, or if I need to adjust the arms conncted to the servo for throttle or brake. Im confused. The engine runs and stars fine, then it just runs like crazy itself. It wont just sit there and idle. Ive tried adjusting everything, even the idle screw. The wheels just go and then sometimes it speeds up really loud and fast and i have to shut it off with the pinch move. Can someone help me on this. Does anyone know what the factory settings are for tuning, and even the idle screw on the Warhead?

or the fuel might be bad. Do you shake your fuel before you put it in the truck?

Or you've developed an air leak, that would be my guess

I highly doubt it is the high/low/idle needles. It may be the air leak or bad fuel. Your servo may be glitching also. Take of the air intake and move the throttle with all electronics on. If it glitches than you need to do other things. Even if it doesnt glitch, when the truck is on and viberating, it will move wires and such.

I seen a bunch of air bubbles in the fuel line. This may be the prob but now i cant start the engine. I was cleaning it and now it wont start. Maybe its the glow plug. Hey I have another question, the warhead says the low speed factory setting is 12.5 with the throttle wide open. What does that mean? Also, why would the setting be so far away from fully closed?

On the low speed needle, you have to fully open the carbto set the needle, otherwise the carb slide will make contact and you won't be able to get the LSN turned in that far to open it 12.5 turns.

Another thing to help you is goto the thread "anyone own a warhead" It's a large thread and any questions you have most likelt would be answered in there. I linked you to the page on how to seal the engine. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_36...45/key_/tm.htm post #8604

Thats the best part of the hobby dude! Breaking and fixing! If this hobby was all driving and no fixing, it would be boring!

That is sad to hear[&o] I am 14. I started the hobby in November and i remember all the time i was thinking of selling everything but somehow i got over it and now i am bringing another person into the hobby; my dad. As soon as you own the trucks for awhile you get them working good and a little problem on your warhead sould not hurt you.

thats not the only problem i have had, ever since the first day i took it out of the box. There is been like 8 issues that has held me down, actually, I have only been able to run this truck 1 time without a problem, and ive tried like every day for over a month. That 1 day i was waiting on my car to be washed and i had no room to run it really. Nitro is a pain.

I want to know are there any electric monster trucks that are like the same size as the warhead or savage, or any buggies that are the same size as a 1/8?

who gives a damn what you think. Notice, yours doesnt run either, actually your like the 5th person i have communicated with that there warhead doesnt run. Ive been into RC before you were born little boy, so dont tell me about giving up ,ive had and enjoyed more cars than you could probably ever own .
