Default Mega Baja, M.G.T., or Revo 3.3

Well I'm gonna sell my genesis le and get one of these three any opinion would be appreciated. The gen was my first nitro but i have had a few issues and the only place I can get parts are from California and i have to pay high shipping. There are no hobby shops around here that will even talk CEN to me much less get parts {now I know why}. I dont really bash it hard but i do like speed and handling. I have a jump I built, maybe two and a half foot high. I also have a good size yard but that is about it. I would really like to pimp my ride also, if you know what I mean. So let me know whats the best bang for my buck. thank you berry much

mgt is a great truck my brothers has held up to being launched up to 10 feet in the air and the only thing that broke was a body post and dogbone pin

Well, I'd recommend the MGT for bashing, I might be a little bias though, but I like mine - The Mega Baja is just an Afterhshock with Beetle body.. but, it's is upgradeable to the LST2, and there's a lot of after market for those.. The Revo has a ton of after market (the most of those 3), so that's probably your best bet if you just want 'bling'

So, Revo > Mega Baja > MGT for after market support.. I'll take the MGT for durability..[&:]

I love my MGT!!!!

It doesn't even need aftermarket to be tough, only too look better than it already does.

I am bias also though, but really, I LOVE... MY MGT!

if you don't mind me suggesting another truck, the LST2 is probably the best package you can buy, with someone who knows how to land a jump any truck can do 10 foot jumps (i'v done up to 12 foot with me revo without breakages)

if you strictly want the three you have listed there i would suggest the MGT as a basher.

I would choose the MGT. Dont get the Mega Baja. For alot cheaper and not much difference, get the Aftershock. The Mega Baja isnt worth the extra money.

mgt is good then aftershock and revo. I like the big trucks and the mgt and aftershock are big. you can't go wrong with any one all are good trucks.

That's a totally differnt scale and not even nitro. It also has a heft price tag.

If you can wait, get the LST2 for 550. It's the complete package.

CEN GST 7.7cc - $514 RTR, just add fuel and batteries.

It's pretty damn close to the Baja 5b in size, and hauls @#$ comparatively.

OMG WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS HAVE TO SUGGEST SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT, stick to the dam subject, he is asking what car out of the 3 stated, personally i say MGT because it is what i have and its a beast of the truck, but i havnt owned the other trucks stated so cant comment on them. The Baja is 1/5, 3 times the price and petrol, this is the nitro section dude. Yes there cool, yes there fun, but so are nitro trucks

snaut rocket means the HPI baja 5B, it is a 1/5 scale gas powered 2WD buggy, and from memory i think they're about $1000 U.S, not the team losi mega baja, that is a 1/8 scale nitro, and is basicly an aftershock with a new body, but the aftershock is a lot cheap so is a better deal.

woops my bad totaly missed that... just haveing a lot of trouble with the gen I really hope there are more durable trucks out there like i said this is my first and i'm hooked on the speed size and ability of these things but if i spend another $400-600 on another truck and have this much trouble i think i might walk away i have had the gen for almost a year bought for $650 and already over $1200 total and only 2 gallons of fuel had to replace the motor because the glow plug filiment came out and smashed up the head button and the top of the piston under warrantee w/o free replacement ,4 pullstarts 6 start shafts brake drive cup for the rear and the slider shaft three servos 4 manifold gaskets 2 exhaust couplings before i cut a piece of heater hose off a real car and out of the almost year about 9 1/2 months on the shelf i like the radio tho and now the tranny is kicking out of gear between first and second and wont engauge until the truck is completely stoped, every time i drive it something else breaks so the time has come to sell, recoup and invest in a better made product thanks to everybody that has posted here
