double posting?

check front and rear drive shaft. if they are ok, turn the spu gear

with you hand and see if the shafts are turning.

if the shfts are not turning, may the tranny has some problem

TIP:
Any time you hear ANYTHING wierd, STOP.. do not drive it towards you !

I have learnt this the hard way. This way you will minimize the damage and you will have a smaller area to search for parts! lol

I cant help you directly but I think what you might wanna do is think about the physics if what you did leading up the the failure.. landed too hard? Hit something causing a high-G shock?

your problem is most likely a spur gear worn.It is the plastic gear between the engine and the frat, and my guess is the snow ride was over loading the tooth till they worn out. u can view the spur by removing its cover held by 1 clip.If u notice a white dirt inside its sure. if u didnt re-tighten the engine mount screws it will loose and the spur gear will not survive.

If the cluch is spinning it is probibly in the tranny.

if the cluch is not spinning it is probibly because it has a broaken piston arm or crank shaft.

If all the driveshafts are in place, then sheck your spur gear, and if it is good, then your transmission is either not going in gear,or you have broke a gear,or the shifting mechanisim inside the gearbox probably.

Default serious problem on my terra crusher

My Terra locked up in forward. Took the tranny out and opened it up where I found an extra bearing in the bottom of case jamming the gears. Only had it for a couple of days so will take it back to dealer and test out warranty. Guess it got dropped in there and left at the factory.

Sorry to hear about the bad luck.I bought a tower nitro st-15 brand new,and it wouldnt even run when i took it out of the box.Got that fixed, but now it doesent run at all,and i wish i had spent a little extra and got something better like a rc10gt,or a nitro rustler,or a duratrax maximum mt.
