17mm hex available for mgt?
I see a lot of wheels i like with a 17mm hex. Is there an adapter for the mgt? I'm using 40series and 23mm hexes now, but the seem way too heavy. It was much quicker with the stock set up. Any comments on this?

The 40 series are great, and with the velocity rims from Proline Racing, they're light, and big!
What adaptors do you have? The [link=http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/3243]23mm Daces[/link] are light, drilled for lightness, and are way better than the proline crap...
As far a 17mm's, I'm pretty sure any T-maxx 17mm adaptors will work, if you want to use them.
And for wheels, DON"T get the Proline Wabash if you're thinking of them.

RE: 17mm hex available for mgt?
16T on a RR 54T spur. At my LHS, they have some 23mm hubs. I can't remember who makes them, but they uses a pin that slides all the way through the hex. Then some rubber ring goes around it to hold the pin in place. The stock wheel nut holds it all together with a washer behind it. They look tough. However, I will still prolly get the Dace ones. Does anyone use the Team 14mm hex under them, or just the stock one?

And adaptors w/ pins going into the adaptor are going to break. The Dace isn't like that because the pin goes to the 14mm hex, then the adaptor, as you know. They are much better...
And my gearing is 14T cb w/ a 54T spur as well. I love low gearing, because an MT needs torque, not speed!
