SAVAGE : be gentle
To all SAVAGE owners:
Be carefull with the screw z 700. DO NOT overtighten it. The tread goes into aluminum and is very fragile (alum. is a soft metal).
The z 700 screw is the screw that is keeping the brake rod to the tranny. (a very litle allen screw M3 * 3mm).
I hope this helps you to prevent damage. (it's to late for me but hey, it keeps me bussy
