revo with transmission trouble
Hi guys,
I an new at this and have a Revo 2.5r that seems to have gone into neutral or broken something just as it ran out of gas. I refuled it and tried to get to move but had no luck. The slipper cluch is turning and the gear you can see by looking into the tranny thru the top is turning but it won't move. I reprogramed the computer back to factory setting per the instructions and both the green and blue lites are on but it won't move. Any suggestions before I take the tranny out?? Thanks for you help!!!!

RE: revo with transmission trouble
If the spur gear is moving... but the wheels aren't... I would take a stab at it being a transmission gear... possibly the Reverse gear... (since it's the weakest link in the tranny)... I would say... open the tranny up and see... and do the FOC... I thought I would miss reverse, but I've been so long without it... I don't even remember how to use it... my LST2 has reverse and I hardly ever use it... hehehe

Flip the foward/reverse switch a couple times on the controler until it gets back in gear. If it dosnt there could be a fried gear in the trans.
