Need help charging batteries
Hello, I just purchased a ICE charger and the menu is a liitle complicated[] I know how to operate it, but I am confused on what are the best settings for different battery types, for example what would be the best setting for discarging and charging a 5cell 1600mah reciever pack, how many volts and amps to discarge and and charge at. Is there somekind of guide or link with this type of information..[] Thanks! I will only be using to charge reciever packs and 7.2 volts packs for my rotostart

lol I charge at 2 amps with my 1300mah bump pack, my charger says..
0000 - 1000Mah - 1 amp
1000 - 2000Mah - 2 amp.
1300 is above 1000 so its 2 amp for me

These are sub-c packs and probally shouldnt be charged using the 1000mah=1amp method. Id drop them down a bit if its a receiver pack. .5 is a good number.

RE: Need help charging batteries
from what i been doing is nicads only charge them at 2 times their capacity, if their a new set gradually increase their amprage. like a 1000 milli amp pack(ie 1 amp batt pack) i would slowly increase the amps to 2 amp quick charge after maybe 30 or so charges. nickel metal hidride batt are omly charged at their amp raiting (ie 3000milli amp pack = 3 amps)no more no less, now the lipos totally diff breed of batt.
i have a site you can download a chart if i can find it.
