Default Got Brakes?

OK a new problem has came up..... I have a nitro stampede..... The brakes keep sticking on. My huband got them un-stuck (lack of a better word) but as soon as you start it they go right back on... Does anyone know what could cause this and why? Also does anyone know how to fix this problem? Once again thank you all for your help. You are all so helpful and I have learned so much here already I am greatful for your help, advice, and knowledge and the fact you all never seem bugged by my questions, so many thanks to all....

Default RE: Got Brakes?

I dont know if I can tell you why they are sticking. (You would have to take a pic so we can see what factors are there for the sticking) But I can give you a potential solution.. On my T-maxx, I took a spring from a pen and cut from it two small pieces. This was to minimize brake drag and in you're case this may stop them from sticking. I have enclosed an old pic of my t-maxx so you can see it clearly, hope this helps[8D] Also dont forget to double check you're linkage and adjust it if necesary. Tom.

(You can see the springs between the brake pads)

Edit, made it bigger so you can see it up close[8D]

Do you have a fail safe? that could be a potential problem (not set properly)?
