Default monster pirate engines?which ones can u put on?

iam thinking of getting a monster pirate with no engine. iam wondering if you can put a rb ws7 or rossi black magic on them?,,becuz if u can that will be cool. thanx

It has been done. If your buying an older Pirate chassis, upgrade to 8 mm axles. Also, there was an issue with the diff housing being plastic on older Pirate chassis, id say get the upgraded housings.
Im sure youll be able to get more info on exactly which chassis you purchase. Check SaBR products in search for quality upgrades, those guys wrote the book on upgrades. http://www.knology.net/~smashandbashracing/

www.powerlineracing.com has all kinds of aluminum and carbon fiber stuff. Get the stock aluminum diff housings from nitrohouse for 12$ instead of 30 from the above link. they work great.
