Mylar Bag to stop Radio Glitching?!
Hey guys!
I was just browsin around and came across this "TIP".
How does wrapping your reciever in mylar help avoid unnecessary reception?
I thought the extraneous input that it gets comes in through the antenna?!
I think I'm gonna go home and try this and see if it reduces servo jitter (if any!)

I dont know about mylar, but the magnetic/static proof wrapping that computer parts come in works great. It does look like mylar, but it is different. The rf noise ussually comes from the motor or battery pack and it messes up the electronics, not the radio signal. Sometimes even just adding a plastic radio box can fix glitching. I know there are also many other sources like wet reciever, low batteries, radio transmitters(like radio station) and electro-magnetic fields. I know weedwacker engines in my boat always cause glitching which i fix with the wrapping.

Oh ok, but I think the guy was in fact talking about the anti-static bag your talking about.
Thanks!
I guess I'll stuff some of that in my reciever box as well then! lol

Yes BUGGIES R US...........that was my tip awhile back....... I was refering to the Plastic bags that you get RAM or CPU's delivered in they help on cutting down Vibration interference as well as electrical intereference .........that latter being for lack of room to keep the receiver away from the digital servos OR batteries
