titans 550 vs 600s ?
Curantly I have an emaxx with 2-7cell 4200 packs and its fun to break wheelies with it. I recently purchased 2 600 motors online and tried them out with the same set up and they wont wheelie and my run time seemed shorter. I aslo expected more speed. Does that sound right? Should I have changed the gearing or added more cells? Feel free to set me straight. Seems like the titans perform better with the same voltage.

Bigger motors need more voltage...they should provide more torque so in gearing you should be going up in pinions or down in spur size.
Also don't forget those 600's weigh a good deal more...

If you are running your stock evx controller then I think 6 cells would have been the max with 600 motors if they are the s-600 everyone generally gets. Generally bigger motors do need more voltage, but if you bought lower turn motors than the stock 550 then they would spin faster. I would not have tried with 14 cells and I would not try with more unless you check temps on your speed controller to make sure you dont burn it out. Maybe play with the gearing a little and see what happens. Post which motors you bought so we can give you better advice.

The motors I bought were Dual 600 size motor power pack for E-Maxx 12V - 24V on ebay for 11.99 plus shipping by maddmaxx motors. They didnt generate alot of heat but I did notice they were rated at 18,800 rpms which is about 1000 less to the titans so I think your right about the pinion.I do appriciate your input. So to add more cells for these size motor, would I need to upgrade my esc to a novak supper duty? I guess we are all just trying to find the best bang for our buck. How do you feel about the Kershaw brushless system?
