My mammoth ST
Heya, thought i'd chuck up a few pics of my mammoth I run at the track.
It's got the alloy steering setup, a Futaba s3305 throttle servo, an ace 15kg monster truck steering servo (not installed in pics), low pro shock towers, pro line Wabash 17mm hex 40 series shod with Bow Tie 40 series tyres, a Rex-X wing mount, Pro line high downforce wing and hardened anodised hexes+hubs.
It's low as our track is only soft rolling hills and grass, no rocks or 15 foot leaps lol.
As she stands she's 2 inches wider than a 1/8th buggy is long, 4.3 kilos, 24 inches long and will run a 13 lap run of our track. Most a buggy has ever run is 14.

RE: My mammoth ST
Hehe, the Mammoth is a good race truck with a bit of fettling. I need to junk the 2 speed and go with a centre diff, and get a nosram 28 for it, but the diff is wierdly difficult to find over here.

RE: My mammoth ST
And that means what? I've had far better experiences with XTM than I've had with Losi (MLST, LST 1).
Each to their own I guess.

XTM is not the best company, but imo the Mammoth ST is one awesome racing truck, when setup properly it can kill other overpriced truggies with few mods. Especially if you get the Pro kit off ebay for $350 and add a Nosram .28 and some nice radio gear, great truck for the money[8D]

Wow that's low! [:-] nice truck, they make great racers, I'm guessing the track you run no is pretty smooth?... I'm not sure if you already have them, but the upgraded chassis braces might be something to consider.. and make sure the diffs are shimmed.. and you should be set [sm=thumbup.gif]
..and I wouldn't worry about the arrogant arse comments - you liking your truck is all that matters
