Well like I told you guys got my warhead back and I have my first vid ever and here it is the pipe fell off about 1:50 or so then theres nothing else.

DUDE! OUCH! No offense, seriously but that was painful to watch, or listen to that is. Its almost like you could hear the engine screaming out in pain from running without a pipe. The pipe plays a really important role in the combustion department. It creates back pressure that forces unburnt fuel back into the engine and running without it is REALLY REALLY bad for the engine. I almost felt the need to reach through my monitor and slap you on the back of the head . Next time shut it down RIGHT AWAY!!

Anyways you live and learn, dont worry about it to much. It might cost you a new engine sooner than you thought though. Also at the beginning it was on idle for a couple seconds and sounded really lean, that on top of running without a pipe = bad. Consider this as the engine you learn on and make your mistakes with it. I did the same with my first engine, it didnt live past 1 gallon and i pushed it up to 375 once lol. The heat sink went from all purple to half purple half pink [&:].

ya i plan on this to be my learning truck cause i have heard of how bad these are but the are pretty good for the job im just tearing this one around till i get better

Hey man it was really lean before the pipe came off you can tell by listening to it idle and seen no smoke at all,give it some fuel and it will run a lot better

It still sounds lean to me you are getting a bog at high speed and it still sounds lean at a idle

Can someone tell me whats wrong I run the engine for bout 3 min while driving then when i let it idle it stays constant buzzing no diffrent sounds?

Thats what I am talking about it is too lean on the low needle and it also sounded lean on the high speed needle,because it sounded like it had a lean bog on top end.By the way it will not last long this way

wow, man if that ever happens again, put ur finger over the carb, stop the air flow it will shut right off.

Lean the hsn, and richen the lsn

also try going back to factory settings, if it still runs hot! then u prob have an air leak, which means u have to seal the motor.

Oh man..... 2:00 min of driving, and 3:12 of listening to an engine screaming in the background... Man you need to edit the vid. And ask someone in your family or something to hold the cam, it looks soo much better then you having a limited space to drive in Just trying to give you some pointers[8D]

well i tried i put somethign over the exhaust to stop the engine but it wouldnt work then i plug the line that goes to the exhaust didnt work then i finally relized im dumb just pull the fuel line

Yeah just keep at it, what your going through is the very steep learning curve of nitro RCs.

Next time you can just pinch the fuel line going to the carb it should die within5 to 10 seconds tops just be careful not to get burned

Couldnt see much but the idle sounds much better. Try doing a few high speed runs then bring it in and let it idle for 10 seconds, this is a easy way of telling how well the idle is adjusted.

and rise the cam off the ground a bit, it will help with the sound, and we can tell if ur still rich when u do the speed runs.

but so far so good, your getting better.
