People are saying that because Thunder Tiger has a .76 engine for a truck, and that is just a heli engine...

The MGT is a Thunder Tiger design, and the engine in it is a Thunder Tiger, so most likely the new .50 will also be a re headed heli engine.

Oh I didn't no that, it would suck if turns out to be a reheaded heli engine, but who knows maybe it will turn out to be a bigger version of the 4.6.

Maybe, but from the looks of the engine, it looks funky... Probably a heli. []

Oh well, HELLO TORQUE!

it has a side exhaust so most likely its a helicopter engine and the muffler looks very similar to that of a helicopter one too but why didn't they go all out and put a lay down .90 four stroke in there in series with a remodeled helicopter clutch? now that would kick ass [>:]

I have a MGT 4.6 with a picco .27 and it is a beast. I also have a Losi Aftershok and my buddy has a real nice lst2 with a axial .32. My mgt with the picco is more of a beast than the LST2. My aftershock has about 4 tanks through it because it sucks. I also have the Integy alum. shock that I expiremented with springs and oils with, as I did with my stock plastic shocks, and they wre no better. THe stock MGT is a great basher truck, as most people do not race. The new torgue motor as long as it is geared right, should be great.

I feel the same way, all it has is a new engine and small updates. It will be the same MGT, just with more torque Not saying its bad, but I guess people shouldnt expect that much of it[8D]

Do anyone see any differences from this mgt 8.0 to the mgt 4.60 se? The only things I see the differences and heard from the other forums on the mgt 8.0 is the body, engine, tires/rims, rollbar, bumpers, spur gear set up, exhaust set up, transmisson had been upgraded to take the power from the 8.0, and a different radio system. Is it worth getting or just get a other truck?

The MGT is nothing like the EK4. EK4 is one of the original truggy platforms. Short chassis. Similar to a Dominator.

Scotty, what are you talkin about. We know the AE and TTR are essentially the same company. And yes, you would be correct, the AE MGT, would be nearly identical to a TTR MTA. But thats not what crazymento was saying. Crazymento was saying this new MGT 8.0 was the AE version of the TTR EK4. Which it is not. They are not based on the same chassis at all. Not even close.

The mgt 8.0 is the same as the new thunder tiger sledgehammer s50 which is also a new truck coming soon. They are the same, but both are very nice.
