Default savage trouble

hey every body cool site .ive recently bought a savage and put on a mugen air filter,fuel filter and a HB pipe problem is:
1 ocassionaly engine will rev and truck does not move ,spur gear is spinning if i stop spur, truck will take off .or i wait a few seconds and it will go.
2 any clutch/ flywheel recomendations??
3 truck off the line is a slug carb settings seem ok but maybe could be better not sure if i should play with midrange?

so the spur gear is turning faster, but the truck isnt moving?

give us more detail, as more as possible

yes can race engine from idle till wot and spur is spinning and truck does not move if you stop spur then you can hit throttle and take off or if you wait a few seconds it will engage

have you installed the reverse module?

If you don't have the reverse module as indicated above (if you do check to make sure it's not in neutral position), probably your slipper clutch is slipping too much.

Tighten the nut on the spur gear.

Check to make sure the rear metal part of spur assembly is spinning with the spur (plastic) part.

Probably by now your slipper clutch is toast.

sounds like your slipper is too loose or it could be a stripped gear in the tranny....and sluggish off the line could be too lean or too rich on the lsn.....if there is alot of smoke comming from the exhaust then its probably too rich, if not then its probably to lean....another test is to pinch the fuel line and the engine should slightly rev up and then die after 3-4 seconds .....don't touch the midrange because it has very little to do with take off.
