Well, considering you have a Muggy, I would stick with that as your truggy and MT basher and racer. But if you want to race in with the nitro mini's or just want a really good but small basher, go for the .5. I have one and love the thing to death. I threw in a Picco .12 offroad, and it really rips. My dad's friend is a cop, and we had him get the speed with a radar gun, and it clocked out at 45 MPH with that picco in there. Go for the the CRT.5 man, its an awesome truck on a proven platform, just downsized a bit. You will love it.

I was wondering, how fast is the stock rtr engine on the .5 and how well does it cope with grass? It is large enough for grass running?

thanks,
Bigair

if you put a proper tuned pipe and a decent engine in the mini MGT it might keep up with a revo, that sardine can they call a tuned pipe will only limit power, and the stock engines a side exhaust so is a sport engine at best.

my vote went to the MGT 4.6.

The pipe on the mini mgt actualy works pretty good. My truck is fast, and has enough torque to pull wheelies on grass.

Ya, MGT in whichever flavor you choose. Granted, I have not run a mini nitro yet. My experience with the MGT was SOLID and it looks like the MMGT is doing well so far in what I am reading.
