info on redcat trucks??
a friend of mine wants a nitro rc but he is short on cash, i been looking on ebay for deals but not much luck, i know redcat trucks are cheap, but are they junk? whare would you get parts? thanks guys

From what ive been reading there actually starting to come out with some decent trucks like the Avalanche or the Monsoon.
And you cant go wrong with the sh engines.
But i would stick with a name brand and get an aftershock for a good price.

well, the aftershock isnt cheap, like 150-200 on ebay for used... for that i can get a used maxx that he already knows how to work on cause of helping me with mine, and have lhs support.... it does look like a nice truck though

check out the redcat racing suport fourm and ask the guys who actually own them. Also more and more hobby shops are starting to carry parts for them if your LHS doesn't stock you can check out clermontmotorsports.com and allaboutfunhobbies.com both have very fast shiping and are rarely out of stock
