Default Your favorite eBay seller? Vote now!

Thought it would be good for everyone to post up and vote for their favorite ebay sellers/store. It will be good for the experienced guys to know who we use, and probably really helpful for n00bs as well. I know there are a few I go to pretty much all of the time with good prices, support, shipping.

I will update the poll as people add their favorites.

Vote on! We will see who RCU's favorite is!

hopmeup is probably my favorite (aka Heather), but sometimes she is a little slow on shipping. However, their combined shipping is good and they have good in stock inventory and good prices.

Hopmeup has A TON of inventory, but from what I've seen their prices aren't totally persuasive... I check 'em out though occasionally cuz at least tehy ship to Europe, and are apparently very reliable..

Hopmeup is good for combined shipping of items. Item for item they aren't the best I agree. Lately they have been taking too long to ship, so they are falling from my good graces.

I've mostly used RCParts and Dollarhobbyz for my ST-R stuff. Jennys for some Losi stuff (only just got my LST2 so no real need for parts at this stage)

Can't forget rcsuperstore they are pretty good place to order from and rcwaffle is pretty good about having parts that you need but it hacks me off when I have to mail him for a better discription on the listing [:'(]

I buy from ebay stores that sell rc parts, that's not an rc dealer, some from the mentioned above but mostly the not so popular rc ebay stores.

Something has happened with hopmeup... I guess I am done with them. I ordered items almost two weeks ago, and it's only a few states away. I haven't even got a shipping notice yet.

Bummer... Must have changed hands or something because the quality has really slipped from when I started using them.

RCBOYZ and jennysrcsport seem to be the crowd favorites. I haven't used jennysrcsport yet. I will have to check them out.

I remembered seeing this post a few days back... Just checked my mail, and made me realize that in the last 2-3 weeks I have ordered quite a bit of RC parts off of EBay (Mostly from the sellers listed above), and have received 1 of the 8 won/bin auctions.

Sorta upsets me... So, I'm done with buying most RC Parts off of EBay -- Back to the good ol Stormer, Tower, LHS, etc... To me knowing what the hell is going on with my parts order makes the extra buck or two worth it.

NOTE: The one thing I did receive from ebay is a Screw Kit from Fusion RC... Really nice set for the price... Ironically, if you order it through their site, http://www.fusionrcparts.com/ instead of ebay -- you get free shipping... All the more reason for me to abandon Ebay..

I have had a few mix ups recently and am starting to think the same thing as you. 10% off parts may not be worth the inconsistency in delivery of the stuff.

I received a HOPMEUP order with some wrong parts, which they remedied, but it is quite inconvenient and still ended up spanning a few weeks to be complete.

Right...

I think what it comes down to is something you need RIGHT NOW! Like a replacement broken part is best handled other ways than ebay... Where as something that is a "luxury" item -- the saving might be worth it..

But also, Ebay sellers are getting more and more greedy on s/h charges -- because I think most consumers over look that aspect on ebay.. Most of the time they are more than the price in gas you'll spend driving to the LHS to get the part same day... I mean Common 5$ s/h for a set of wheel bearings? Are these people on glue?
