RE: CANT WAIT!!!!!!
also the bearings in the spec 3 are quite simply put Cr@p, ive had 2 mates with this motor have the bearings let go, and they had to get bearings from boca.
Id suggest getting some decent engine bearings for it

RE: CANT WAIT!!!!!!
just one thing to keep in mind you might want to tear it down and clean it out, a lot of these power house motors have fine metal shavings left behind so its a good idea to tear it down and flush it out, and while resembling it you should seal it cause its best to do while its still clean.

RE: CANT WAIT!!!!!!
You shouldn’t let it idle for a tank that really dose nothing for you motor other than cause premature wear. The way that seems to work for a lot of people is the heat cycle method.
Once it starts and is running rich, drive by varying the speed of the motor. No more than 1/2 throttle. Check temps and once it reached 230 (should be 2-3 minutes of driving), shut it down. Move piston to BDC and let cool. Repeat this until you get to a total of 25 minutes of driving.
Search in the engine section for a better post that has more detail on how to break in a motor.
