Race Setup for T maxx........
Depends, are you running a small block(.12-.18) or a big block(.21-.26)?
Either way light products=better performance. But stronger products=longer life and reliability.
But for a basic run down on a small block truck Id start with these.
A strong chassis/chassis braces
Stock arms w/cvds or Proline suspention w/cvds(keep the bulks plastic)
4 1/8 shocks (ofna, kyosho............)
FOC(forward only conversion) for the tranny UE 8mm or 10mm is the best.
Spooled rear diff
cut down body posts
Good high speed/high torque steering servo
Good high speed throttle servo
Ue servo saver, or proline servo saver
some lightweight rims(RPM CLAWS are the lightest)
some good racing tires(bowties, pacmans, or micros)
Titanium hinge pins/and tunbuckles
RRP dual disc slipper
Dual brake disc mod
aluminum pillow balls
theres alot more that Im not thinking of right now!!
It all depends on your application and track rules. Give me some more info on what you want to build and I can give you some idea's.
BTW I run a snorty .247 maxx
