What should I do
Here's the deal.
I have a savage X 4.6 rtr , and a MGT 8.0.
I am thinking about selling the MGT for another stock savage, because I do not like the way the MGT is laid out for maintance.
I have yet to run the MGT, but was messing around with it on the workbench, and it looks like a pain to work on, also looks
like a lot of maintance to keep the drive shafts in shape, and get to the diffs.
The transmission also looks very complex unlike the savage.
I did not buy the 8.0 , I got it as a gift.
Should I stick it out and run the truck, or sell it before I out any wear and tear on it.
Thanks for any suggestions

I find the mgt really easy to work on.
If you have the intructions of the tranny its preety easy to take it apart and reassemble.
maybe your just use to the savage and the mgt just looks different.+

Then I have to sell it for half its price, because it is used.

The MGT is really easy to work on so I suspect that you are used to the savy. as far as you liking the 8.0, that's personal preference and something you'll have to decide yourself. for me one MT is plenty good. maybe you should just give the 8.0 to me

Give it a chance before dismissing it. If you decide afterwards that it's not what you're after then sell it on - as it was a gift it's not like you're losing any money on it anyway
