MGT 4.6 hop-up
OK all, I'll come clean up front. I'm just being lazy.
I know I read it but can't remember where. If I go from the stock 4.6 to the 8.0 I need to change three things. I think trans, diffs and something else, any help ?

you need the new tranny, spur gear/slipper and new support bracket. The support bracket will require 3 holes to be drilled in the chassis. No one has really done it yet that I am aware of, but a guy on the MGT forum is in the process. he just posted pics yesterday with the tranny in. are you upgrading to the .50 engine too? Im not sure if the old engine and CB will line up properly with the new spur set up. the gearing on the 2 makes is completely different. The diffs on the two trucks remained unchanged, so your diffs will work. the 8.0 brake has been upgraded as well.
