Looking for a new truck
I am looking for a new truck and can't decide between these two. I have read threads on both of them and still can't decide. I want soming big and with lots of torque and power, along with durablity. So I would just like to know what people think would be the better.

RE: Looking for a new truck
Well since you seem to have it narrowed down to two trucks my vote is for the MGT 8.0, however, the GST 7.7 is a good truck as well, tough decision to make.

lol Everytime I read more and more it makes it harder to decide. I wish I could just get both. Would make life easy.

RE: Looking for a new truck
you like both so I would look at which one has better local hobbie shop support. I had a lot of problems with parts for my cen, that is me you might have better luck. I'll break something look it up and order it and sometimes it comes in wrong or I can't find a good number[]. Now with the MGT I go in the store and show the truck and he almost always has the part I need. One more thing I always get good advice on upgrade parts from them and other things. both are good trucks for fun from what I been reading and I too like the looks of the cen, but I'm not a good driver and crash a lot[&:] so good parts support is a big plus for me. If the LHS had cen I would buy the GST. I have the MGT 4.6 not the 8.0.

The more I keep reading about the gst, it seems it has more than the mgt. But everyone with the mgt seems to love that also. I just wana get both.

Get the Revo. It will smoke any truck! [>:]

My vote goes to the 8.0, looks like a great solid built truck with good parts support at most lhs.

I have a revo 3.3, very fun but I don't have a track close I want something just big and bad. So I think it is going to be the mgt 8.0 that I am going to go with. Now just time to wait for that wonderful tax return.

You can bash the Revo just like any other MT. Saying the Revo is strictly for racing is total BS!

No one ever said the revo couldnt bash, just said there are trucks that suit his needs better.

out of the two you have narrowed it down to,i voted MGT.Associated makes one kick arse MT.cant comment on the CEN product as nobody around here stocks them or parts for them.

I voted neither... 'cause those wouldn't be very high on my list. If you already have a Revo 3.3, I say LST2 would be nice... I have both, and I like 'em.

RE: Looking for a new truck
I have a question.
If you are wanting something big and fat.. why not just invest in a 1/5 gasser?? its barely over the size of the type of truck you want.. and you have MUCH higher potential in that department. my suggestions is... read up on 1/5 scale cars.. i think you will be pleasantly surprised at all other options that will come popping up. consult foxy, he will let you into the world of 1/5.. you will never want to come back, i promise.
but if you are not ready to go there, i vote LST2.

RE: Looking for a new truck
Gasser is big bucks. The RTR baja needs upgrades so you might as well get the SS...but again big bucks.
If people saw the vids of my lst2 @ the bmx track w/ just a new era roll bar it would make the choice REAL easy.
