Hot Bodies gt10 Mt
Any opinions on this monster truck. Looking to get one for my youngest son. I saw one on the net and thought it looked pretty cool and seems most reviews were good. Anyone know about it? Good/Bad etc...

I had the 1/8 version, and it was a good, solid - above all tough truck.. The stock HB 26 sucked, but that's beside the point..
Ultimate Hobbies had them for 200 bucks shipped, which would be about the most I would pay.. Especially when you know all along that amain still has the TT ST-1 for €280 or so...
If you're totally set on this truck, I would bet it would be a fun, reliable truck.. Hot Bodies stuff is "oudated", but solid and reliable in my experience...
For the money though, I'd get the ST-1...

Then when the next guy comes along with the same question you had, we'll have somewhere to point him to... Plus I'm just curiousmyself..

Oh I will. I am excited about this truck because it looks to be very well built and just the idea of a MT on a truggy type chassis says it must handle good. I will keep posted though. I should have it by the weekend. Oh and I only paid 200 for it new. Cant beat that!

I got mine for christmas from an ebay store called Hopmeup,187$ on sale.Yes,its the one with the roto start and .18 sized motor,The motor has a ton of power and this thing is FAST for a single speed. The engine holds a tune very well and break in was easy as pie. The only thing iv broken was the rear shock tower (while doing front-flips the body came off and the posts snagged the ground) and a front CVD.If you nudge a small bump it will wheelie. This truck is just simply amazing! P.S. this thing flies great!

RE: Hot Bodies gt10 Mt
Well I received the GT10 today and I have to say that this is one of the best looking and very well built 1/10 scale monster trucks that I have seen. HPI did a good one on this one but not sure why this truck is not a popular truck. It looks to be soo much better than my t maxx

i have the gt 10 and the 1/8 lightning stadium pro rtr both are made really nice they both just feel right really dont need anything i just saw the lightning 2 buggy for 219.00 on ultimates special site that is tempting but my wife is on my case i went nuts this past winter if she see's another car come to the front door i maybe going out the front door you guys got me pumped up i pulled out the gt 10 charged the receiver pack it fired right up i barely had to turn the needle 1/12 tested the temp a few `times i was blasting up and down my block just thinking this thing cranks especialy for a little 3.0 i think it could keep with a few of my 1/8 buggies

Really looking over it I am very pleased with the quality and pretty much everything I read is that they are very quick for a 1/10 scalt MT. Cant wait to get it broke in.

when you start to use it dont adjust the suspension try it as it comes it really woks nice its really hard to flip on pavement i was so impressed with it at one time i was going to try to put 2.2 tires on it with a car body and change the gearing i thougt it would make a nice kind of rally car or dirt oval racer
