Default How is the engine that comes in the savage?

So I am thinking of switching from my 1/8 scale buggy to a monster truck. Reason being that tracks are too far away, so I want something that is going to be a good basher (the buggy does not do well on grass. How reliabile and easy to tune is the engine on the savage? For this truck, I really just want something that is easy to start and that will keep running. Power and performance are not huge concerns for this application, just ease of use.

The K4.6 is a great, easy to use engine, that won't cause you any hassles, and will let you wheelie at will... The F4.6 I don't know, but I would imagine it's along the same lines...

I've always found the stock Savage motors to run really well, and tune really well.

I just have the savage X and that engine has been fine no problems and get great run times. also very easy to tune can be a PITA to start in the cold, it would be nice to have a primer thing. When the engine does go I'll replace it with the K4.6 or a mach 427.

IDK about beer but the stuff my grand pop drank could run a car, 101 wild turkey. I did a shot of 151 rum and felt like my gut was on fire[&:] I'm sure that would lite in the engine.
