I'll sum it up for you in as few words as possible: Every truck has its weak and strong points, you will never find a truck that happens to be the "best". It all depends on application, personal preference, and loads of other things. I can almost guarantee this thread will be closed because it will get ugly really quick. I'm gonna stop there...

Well to make a helpful post...You will be happy with what ever truck you choose. Base your decision on what your LHS stocks parts for..

Has RCU really gotten to the point where someone looking for some advice can't get a real answer?

Honestly, set your budget and then pick what fits best. The Monster GT or Losi Aftershock are great bashers to start out with and won't kill your wallet. If you've got some extra cash to spend, and LST2 or Revo are both great choices. The new Savage XL looks like a great truck, but I'd probably let it get to gen 2 before buying one.

If I were to pick one nitro MT today, I'd probably pick the Losi LST2. I've had a few MGTs and a Savage, but always looked forward to using my friend's LST2. Both of the on types that I owned were great, but took some work to get them to being really solid and reliable.

What ?

Directed at me l assume, 1 post, dude, digger, lighten up ay, serial, serially serious, what , you dont like the frog, man youm a bad ass or what, FROG owns you hahaha, theres plenty of good advise at RCU, you just have to look past the occasional drunken noober to get to it, its all in fun, and you just need to lighten up a bit, now l could be a sinic and ask you have you just changed your name to hide your ID on RCU, or are you truelly a new member ?
If your new, at 1 post you dont recon its just a little cheeky ?
Did you sign up just to post that ?
See now me being a chump ******* that l am, would get a good laugh out of that, hahaha.

That's a tuff one[&:]. The savage gets a lot of respect in that dept and it should it is a very tuff truck but so is the LST2 and it's sooo much more fun. spending almost $600 on a rc truck I was a little gun shy to bash the crap out of it, but I did a few jumps and got a little brave and then just stupid and this truck is very tuff. I bought the new era roll bar and the truck is a great basher. The mgt (I have one) breaks a little more but I do run that the most and done a lot of upgrades to it, that's my baby. I have a cen fun factor and if any wheel hits dirt or grass it will break something[:@] I run it like a on road car it's such a POS. I am not a good driver at all[&:] and the savage took a lot of my mistakes well and help me build skills (I still suck) so it was a very good truck to learn on. If the savage was more stable it would be the best but it's not[&:]. The mgt with upgrades is very good but I spent with the truck and all over $700. The lst2 is for me the best basher that I have and has been a very tuff truck and going from the MGT to savage to LST2 has made me a better driver. Hope this helps
