Default ofna 17mm adapters on mgt 4.6

The other day i bought ofna adapters on ebay since they said that they were for t/e maxx and mgt. The adapters dont fit by about 1mm. I wanted to know if I could sand them down a little so that the holes match up. will it ruin the adapters?

What do you mean they dont match up? are they too deep and hit the bearings? I use 17mm hexes from my savage and they fit perfect.

they dont match up where the pin goes. the hole on the adapter only raches to about half of where the hole on the axle is.

The holes on the 4.6 axles are in further than the .21 MGT axles or MIP axles. Most people end up using something like the Maximizer 17mm hubs with the 4.6 axles. I think if you were to sand down the Ofna adapters it would weaken it too much.

I had the same problem when I put Losi nuts on my warhead. Get a good file and file them level until the pin hole lines up.

I wanted to sand it down but this morning I compared the two and the pin is wayyy to in. I would need sand it down all the way to where the hole is and leave nothing to hold it
