Picco 26 for my savage
Through my LHS i can get a picco 26 for 169.99 with pullstart.
Is this agood deal.
Can I run a hot bodies tuned pipe with this motor, or is it too much motor.
and beside clutch upgrade any other suggestions for upgrade to get full potential for this motor.
Thanks

What hobby shop has it for $169.99? yeah its a great deal. most I'vbe seen have them for $180 or more.
Go ahead and run it with the hot bodies pipe it will work fine. Get some HPI HD bones and some stronger center drives if you don't have them already. the stock ones won't last with a .26 turnign them. Also a 16t clutchbell as the .26 will have more than enough power to handle the larger clutchbell. I've seen 2 savages with the .26 and they were both quick with more than enough torque to push the heavy savage around with ease.

Yeah just get the center drives and with what you already have you should be fine. watch the pins on the center drives if you get the hot bodies ones. make sure they are lock tighted in with the heavy duty stuff.
cool.. I've been thinking about getting a .26 for one of my RC's. I'll have to check out hobbytown. thanks
