Tired of the street
Does anyone live in the Phoenix area? I'm bored with running my Savage and Tmaxx up and down the street. Of course, pissing off the neighbors is fun. Anyway, does anyone know of a track anywhere in the area? Preferably on the north side. Just looking for a fun area to run em, not where everyone races.

In phx here to. Iuse empty lots. If ur live in north valley, head up near 7th st and union hills. Whe i last lived up that way it was pretty much wide open land north of union hills. I used to run my RC at a place between beardsley and union hills on the east side. It may be developed by now, but go little farther north and u should have all the open land you could want. I live in down town, so i hit the abandoned lots.
There is also a track in scottsdale (thomas/hayden) I havent tried there yet, never even seen the track, but alot people have informed me about it since i bought my truck. If u really wanna get wild... go out to sycamore creek, that where i run my quad and gonna take mysavage next time. sycamore creek is out 87 passed the turn off to canyon lake. go straight on 87 till u hit the base of the white tanks ( the turn for payson) about 25 yrd back from corner is a dirt road on the south side of 87. It is all wide open off road vehicle country. Acres and acres of off road recreation area. LEt me know if you get any other suggestions.

I looked in one of my RC Mags at the track directory and there are 2 in Phoenix. There is a Hobbytown, but it does not have an off-road track. Then there is one called R/C Sports Mania. No address, but there is a phone # (602)278-3671. Hope this helps you get off the street ....
