I'm still relatively new to the Nitro fuel and was just wondering if I'm paying too much or is it pretty much the standard price?

Yeah, Im paying probably about $25 per gallon too. I used to pay about $21.50 (that is like $19.99 including the tax).
I am not sure why you guys in Canada are paying more, your dollar is actually worth more now.

I use 20% in my 4.6, it might not have quite the same performance but since i only bash, it saves me 10 bucks a gallon.
I pay 19 bucks a gallon for 20% here in MD. But 30% is 28 bucks locally.

Also, another newbie question, why some fuel I see are red and some are blue.. I'm using blue right now.... is it just some color that they put in to look good??

Manufacturers tint their fuels different colors so you can see it.
Blue Thunder and Traxxas as blue. Sidewinder is pink. Byrons Gen 2 is orange/pink. O'Donnell is clear.
Just be sure when you are swapping fuels you take the time to tune it. They might tune slightly different based on the actual ingredients.
Right now I use exclusively Sidewinder, for 1 reason originally, price. Then I found it to be the best tuning and performing fuel in my OS engines. 30% here is now at $31.

I just payed $30 for blue thunder race 30% here in md. $19 sounds like a crazy price. What type of fuel are you comparing? Same brand 20% and 30% cause that sounds like alot. The blue thunder 20% is usually only like $3 cheaper where I go. For $19 I would like to know where in md as I may travel when I get my small block together to get a supply.

$20-25 for sidewinder 20% race blend (depends if i get the 10% discount). Here fuel hasn't been that bad, but when the fuel crisis hit in China, prices jumped $10!!!

ThunderbirdJunkie paid $49.99 for his last gallon of O'donnell 30% Race at the local Hobbytown.
He does believe that this is the last time he's going to buy fuel from these gouging fools.
Thanks for the heads up, guys.

the price of nitro has gone up. it seems that the hobby shops near me are really getting hit hard by the economy criss. the hobby town i used to go to closes its doors during the summer and the other local hobby shop has raise its prises by a lot. here in VA i used to pay $20 for 20% and $30 for 30%. Now i have to pay $30 for 20%. i used to be able to buy a gallon of 30% for that price.
