Default Good Rim Cleaner

Every household cleaner I try to clean my chrome (plastic) rims with the coating starts coming off. What do I use? Thanks.

Windex and Simple green have never removed the chrome on my wheels.

windex window cleaner, not all purpose,if u really have to use cleaner, other wise jus use dish soap and hot water...[hr]

I was going to try the Simple Green. The dish soap we have also takes the chrome coating off.
