custom summit helios tank
i just completed my latest project, a traxxas summit w/ helios body and working turret and bb gun. this little badass hold 17 rounds, has a wireless cam from range video and is just waiting to go bug the neighbors. the summit is a very cool truck, not as tough as an MGT 8.0, but it goes places i never thought it would go. I have more pics, but I'm saving those for later

this is the big one, you might could sqeeze it on a stampede, but its gonna be big. as for the pics, its from my iphone, so not much i can do there

i have a helios on an emaxx........ it might be a little big for a stampede but take you stampede to the hobby store and set the helios body on top to see if you like the way it looks. by the way love the working turret idea

How do you control the turret? Also, as a safety consideration, do you have a safety on the bb gun on there?

safety? now y would i want that? lol yes, i do, in order to arm the cannon, you need to place a AA battery in the bed (you can see it in the pic) without it, the turret just looks cool. to control it, it uses a 9c radio with 2 sticks, the right half is the truck (throttle, steering, high/low gear, lock and unlock the diff's); the left half is the turret and weapon systems the stick is up down left right, the switches reload, fire, and i have one left over for... well I'm not sure yet. I'll get some vids a little later, my iphone only takes pics.
