Default Which Engine for .21 T-Maxx Conversion??

OK, This is what I have:

- .21 T-Maxx Conversion
- Aluminum A-Arms
- Aluminum Skids
- Aluminum Bumpers
- And a few other aluminum parts
- CVEC Z165 Aluminum pipe
- Aluminum Piggyback shocks (60 wt. oil)
- Big Joes (Tires)
- Velocity 6 (Wheels)

Now I am planning on finishing this thing this weekend so I am unsure which motor to go with. PRICE does matter I would like to stay under 200 US, Power low end and top.

I am looking for a engine that will rip pull these big joes up in the air.

So Far what I am looking at:
- OFNA/Picco .26 Pullstart
or
- Omega/Picco .21 Pullstart

Which would you use? Any experience?

Thanks
in Advance
Garrick

Default I have heard,

A few bad things about the .26 but, a few good as well. The Hyper 8 Port seem like a good one! I have a Force .25 that kicks out some great low end but the top end is not the best! I also have a Torq .21 that runs unbelievably well and is cheap to boot!

I would go witht the ofna hyper .21 8 port. It has 2.5 hp and have heard many good things about it. Looks like a great engine for the price. Just do a search or just ask for more info, I dont have any experiance with this engine just going by what other people say.

You want a solid power curve, with an engine that can pull the wheels up? I run a .247 in my truck, pull wheelies on comand, and have pretty good top end!! BTW my truck is 90% aluminum, steel, and titanium!!

ME TOO

I will be getting a .26 in the next couple of weeks to see what all the fuss is about, and see if its half as bad as Ive heard!! If it sucks, I will have my trusty ole .247 to keep the truck screaming!!

and if you like the .26 your just ganna throw your .247 out the window while it so happens to be me walking by and pick it up.
Or you can just mail the .247 to me it would save half the trouble!

i like the .26 also, i've had one on order for about a month now. back ordered. I hope OFNA is fixing the carb needle problem on this batch, maybe thats why it so delayed.

I think I am going to go with the 24.7 XTM with a Nova cooling head. I will eventually find some one who can prot and re sleeve it for me.

Thanks
