RE: dirty tanks
When I tear down my truck I put all the parts in dish soap and hot water. I use a small scrub brush. When I was the tank I dry it off and leave it to dry for a while.

RE: dirty tanks
I get the worst dirt off with Simple Green, let it soak a bit, then blow it off with compressed air....I've found Simple Green works better than nitro "cleaner"....The Team Orion stuff I bough sucks.....and at $9 a can I can buy 3 big refill bottles of SG....

RE: dirty tanks
The Odonal (pink cleaner) works really well and you dont use near as much.
As for the fuel tank and engines I use CRC Brake Clean you can get it from wall mart. Just make sure you take the o ring off the tank lid as it will cause it to swell up. I use the straw and spray it in from the fuel outlet. That way it back flows the stone or sintered metal filter in the tank.
