cen mt2 or savage or other ?????
which one should i get. I know the cen is only 1/8 scale and that is why i may not get that. I know the savage is probably better but what is better for the money. I would like to bet a monster truckfor cheap that can compete withe the t-maxx. What do you recomend?

The savage is 1/8 scale also. Thats what makes this truck so awsome. 1/8 scale stuff will always take a beating better than 1/10 scale will. I would say go with the savage just for the simple fact that it has way better parts support. whats the point in having a monster truck thats always down waiting for parts.

cen mt2 or savage or other ?????
Ok,so hears the deal with the CEN MT2. It's i 1/10 scale, $100 cheaper than the savage and goes faster. NOW BEFORE SOMEONE GETS PEE'D OFF I AM NOT puttin down the savage cause it's a great truck , i have one with hyper 8 port in it, BUT i also have the Cen MT2 ,and with the stock setup the savage is no match for the MT2 BUT with a bigger engine the savage is right up there with it. Also the MT2 is smaller and just a little bit smaller than the T-maxx.It's also light and has more agility in the air.But if you take a look at both of these trucks side by side , and then think about all there components and what they have and don't have , in a way the CEN MT2 is the 1/10 scale version of the savage. i mean come on take a look, both are very stable , have good power(Only if savage engine is bigger)and very resonable for there price. Now if you think that just because the MT2 is a 1/10 scale that it's not as good as the any other hoped up MT out there , then, you need to go see if at a off-road track somewhere and see it take out the other's. Now i know that most people think cause it's small it ain't got nothin to compare to the savages and titians and other huge MT's, but let me tell you when i got it out of my tote bag instead of my savage at the track, i had about 10 people come over with there savages that have either the picco 26 or the hyper 8port in them and acually ask me do i think i'm gonna race with all the big boys, i said nothin, and turned around and finished fuelin my truck up and by the time i was done they where already out there showboting there trucks, so i started it and they all looked over twards me and i just smiled and gave the throtle a quick touch and popped a wheelie off the side of a burm and onto the track. They were all very suprised at they power of the MT2 . I was keepin up with top savage out there .(it had a picco 26 in it. i was running completely stock).Point is size don't matter. The Mt2 will easily keep up with my hyper 8port savage , although the truck is easily dwarfed by just about any of the maxx's and savage's.

This whole 1/10 1/8 is blown out of proportions here.
The tmaxx is 1/10 and the savage is 1/8.. SO? Does that by itself mean anything? NO!! So why bother?
You wanna know about size.. measure the length!
This scale measurement doesnt seem to really measure up with MTS.
It might be BASED on some other chassis, but ultimately its performance that matters.
Also remember that the integrity of a vehicle goes DOWN as scale goes up.
To illustrate that point.. jumping a TMAXX 5 feet is like juming a Gravedigger 50 feet in the air!
Will the tmaxx survive if it lands in any direction but on all 4 wheels? Yes! Will a full scale truck? NO WAY! You'll be stuck with a cool 10 Gs of repair.
So Bigger is not better! There are other specs like ground clearence, weight, power and handling to worry about.
