what is the best temp gauge to get for the money and what is the best fail safe to get for the money. I went to the LHS and they had one for 50 but i think i can get one for cheaper. I want to spend around 30 for each if that will get a good one.

failsafes all do the same thing, no matter which one you get. you can usually get em on ebay for about 25 bucks. As for temps guages well, they prob. all do the same thing. I think venom failsafes and temp guages both look pretty cool

I went with the MIP temp gauge and the Venom failsafe. Very satisfied with both and they were under 30 bucks each. Heres a pic of the Venom...

i got my handheld infared temp gun at radio shack for 30 bucks, only about 2 degrees off of the expensive 90.00 guns. and it fits in your pocket, and as far as failsafes i hear the venom one is good check ebay for some possible deals.

I have both the Venom Failsafe and Temperature Monitor. I really like them both. The thing I like about the VTM is that it will give you a high and a low readout with the touch of a button. That way you can know the highest temp your engine reached while running. Also their customer service is AWESOME. Mine started to go bad for some odd reason. So I e-mailed them and they said to sent it in and they would troubleshoot it. Well they decided to just send me a new one. Well when I got that one there was some sort of manufacturers deffect. Once again I e-mailed them, and they sent one out right away. Without me having to send the bad one back first. I got it within 2 days, and was able to send the broken one back at my leisure. They are quick to respond with the e-mails and very curtious. I would buy more products from them if they had any others I wanted .....

Here's a pic of mine......

Thanks badboy. As for now I'm laying off the other one. I never say never though. That situation just really go to me. I made a couple suggestions to zy so we'll see what happens. I do got an inside man kkeping me posted on the goings on though, No way I could give it up cold turkey...I'm too hooked Its my bro in law...Give you a hint, bah, bah........ This site dont look too bad. One thing I did notice is I have to post real small pics. The largest file size it allows is 70kb...most of my pics are like 200-250 kb. And you know how I love posting pics. Just a lot easier when you can see it. Thanks for the referral.

SAVAGE ROCKS!!
