Default Help Im Indesicive

I just cant decide

Ihave looked at the mbx5 the kanai 2 the hypers and the 9.5

hers what i gather

u pay 500-600 to get a kit without a engine, radio,or servos and isnt built
or get a rtr 200-600[i think] to get a fully built rtr with what looks to me like the same old thing as the mugen or k2

THIS IS DRIVEN ME CRAZY

i have looked at a mugen[actually built] side by side with a 9.5 mbx rtr and all i see is mugen just the kit for 560 or 9.5 already built, almost the same features as mugen wit everything u need for under 500

i can afford the mugen just dont want to throw money out the window

another thing i could buy the 9.5 rtr a ws7-2 and a better muffler , radio, servos and still pay less

and have a spare engine, radio, servos, muffler
maybee put that .25 in my t-maxx when its .21 burns out
or sell all of that stuff and get more hopups to make my 9.5 like a k2 or mugen[not that I see a diference]

I WANT TO KNOW IS THE MUGEN OR K2 WORTH IT OR NOT?
AND IF IT IS THEN WHY?

What you want to know.. is WHAT IT DOES FOR YOU FOR THE MONEY!!

Are you a serious racer? IF so get the K2 or Mugen.

If not.. heck its more about your skill than the hardware you got man. I just saw a Kyosho beat mad crap out of an MBX5 today.

ITs all in you!! NOT the buggy!

He's right. YOU'RE IN FRIGGIN SAN ANTONIO! The only people that can race here is you and me, lol. Just get one. If you want it to be durable, get the Hyper. More of a race package, the 9.5. You have to be the driver. That's the way it's always been with me. It didn't matter what car I had, I relied on myself to use what I had and do my best with it. I have been in your indecisive shoes before, and it's easier looking from the outside in, but let me put it plain for ya:

You don't need the MBX5. I almost bought it. But then I realized that I'm not going to the nationals; I'm going to Toys 4 Big Boys and nobody knows how to drive there except a select few, and you can battle them with something less overkill.

Just get a Hyper 7. IMO, it's the best buggy Ofna makes. HEY! I got an idea. I want to get a buggy too, so let's email each other with what we think. Sound good? Let me know.

Also, the MBX4 is still a good buggy and isn't overkill, and I have my eye on it

Like has been said before, go with something more suitable for you, the hyper or the 9.5 are both great buggies, and at a reasonable price!! They can also be hopped up to be just as fancy as the k2, but at a fraction of the cost, IMO I would go with the 9.5 MBX for the simple fact Ive owned a few hyper 7's and just didnt like the chassis layout, mainly the side skirts and front end suspention, although the H7 PBS has the PBS suspention but still sports the same skirts. I also like the 9.5 because its got some of the best shocks on the market, and is a very durable buggy. Ill be buying the 9.5 MBX in the next couple of months.

When u cant make up ur mind, then it doesnt matter obviously they are equally desirable in ur mind or u'd know what one u wanted. When i was in ur shoes, i just made a gut decision (always go with ur gut instincts).

Make a decision and swear by it, even if it turns out to be the wrong one....thats what the rest of us do...lol

BTW (by the way), the pipes that come with the 9.5 and 9.5 MBX are GOOD pipes. They are the one peice shiny pipes if I'm not mistaken. I wouldn't replace a pipe of that integrity.

And the K2 is only worth it if you are racing someone who's last name is Degani... Same with the MBX5....

I have heard a lot of good things about the 9.5 but not had the chance to drive one myself.

I have Hyper 7 PBS - And love it. Very durable. I have more fun bashing it instead of racing it. I love seeing what punishment it can take. Especially when you go to a place with big tractor ruts to try and get through. Buggies have low ground clearence in compare to the tall MT's. Just go WOT through the ruts and watch it toss and turn as it rockets through and over them. It ROCKS!!!! I love jumping as well. Take the really big dirt piles at the construction site - blast up it WOT and launch off the top. I am not a good driver though. Sometimes I do not land right and do cart wheels or land nose first or something like that.

I love this hobby.

Kanai is the Kyosho, so you're probably talking about the 9.5 MBX...?
