broken crankshaft (I think) on trx .15
My crankshaft cracked and broke when I was starting it. Any info on how to fix it would help. thanks.

if ya got any old school local hobby shops, not one of those chains, go and ask if you can have one. they have got to be a dime a dozen by now for the old pro .15. if not i got a used o.s. .15 cv-x that is already cut for a t-maxx for sale. it comes with a brand new in package piston and sleeve, that in my opion is not needed yet, for $100+shipping. this engine is one of the most popular hop-ups for the 2nd generation t-maxx. i had it in mine before i sold the truck to get a savage. here's a pic. there is a o.s. carb on it now instead of the traxxas one.

ok thats what I thought and I just said forget this and bought a rush. Its not the one way bearing but its the shaft that the bearing goes on to. my pull starter cord snaped so I took the ps off and when the bearing came off so did the crankshaft. when I finally got the shaft out of the bearing, it fell on the floor and shattered into like 10 peices. So I just bought a rush.

good decision on the rush!! i think that truck is highly underated. i hang with and beat the likes of the losi's and associated's at my local clay oval track. just got my fantom .12 today and am very excited to get it in the rush and tear up the track!! i'm stripping the whole truck down and getting it all tightened up before the engine upgrade.
