Default Hey Avalanche

Was the Force .25 a DIRECT drop in to the savage? I have read it is, but not sure. Supposedly the Force .26 is not, and I need to buy a engine mount...the only one that will work (from what I have read) is the GPM Billet Aluminum Engine Mount (part number gpmsav1080) I can only find that on one website www.extremercmotorsports.com But they will not ship to me because I am in the military overseas and have a CMR address. A-Holes! Anyway, have any ideas, or know where I can get this engine mount??

The Force engine has a different mounting hole configuration than the HPI .21bb. All you will need to do to make it work with the stock mount is drill 2 1/8 holes on the Forces mounting pad to match the HPI mount. I used a dremel and it took all of 5 minutes to do. Here is a pic of what the finished product will look like. You can use the stock mount as a template, simply bolt up the two holes that match and stick a thin allen wrench up into the remaining mount holes to scribe a mark on the engine mounting pad and then you have two perfectly placed marks for your new holes,....DREMEL AWAY!

Default GPM

I went ahead and bought the GPM Billet Aluminum Engine Mount (gpmsav1080). It is coming from Hong Kong, at www.rcxshop.com , so hopefully it will get here pretty quick.

Nope the picco drops right in. I would at least go for the 3 shoe clutch though. You'll roast the stocker with the .26
