Engine is running RICh and still hits 300 degrees :(
Well everything was fine until my fuel tubing hit my gear and got cut.
Then I just put the piece back on and the engine wont run right.
Tuning makes no difference. Runs HOT as heck.. around 300-315.
I'm gonna take a look at the fuel tubing but its opaque so I cant see through it to see if there are any bubbles.
How can an air leak spring up like that out of nowhere if any?
Any suggestions?!
Never thought I'd be asking such a stupid question lol! but I tried looking around and nothing has changed.
Fuel is a modified Blue thunder at 23% Nitro/15% oil (40/60 castor blend)

So it's running lean no matter what you do? Is the old peice of tubing the same length as the new one? No weather changes or humidity changes? How about the glow plug you are running.
This is your Black Magic right?

Yeah its a BM.
I changed the glow plug.
Yes its the same fuel tubing. It got cut short so I just attached the part where it got cut into the fuel intake.
Hmm.. that maybe a point of compromise. It did get slightly jagged.
Changin tuning DOES make a difference, but NOT on temp! It always stays at 300.

That's all you did? I would change that whole line of tubing and see how it did.
What were the temps before the change?
Oh, and air leaks can spring up like that....

Ok I was a little tired after workin on the lawn AND my car the whole day..lol
It was around 240. and performance was actually better.
Well I guess I know where to look for what now. Thanks!
(a little thought would have solved this.. but thinking is something I've put aside for now lol)

Well its not officially fixed till I try it.
I suspect its the fuel tubing. I think its been compromised and in some way causing this.
I'll let you guys know once I find out, which will be today.

Ok was this on the line to the carb or tank?? If carb, its more than likely that a piece of chopped line worked its way to the carb niple, take the high speed assembly off and look for any obstructions in that area, thats the only thing I can think of other then a pin hole in the fuel line!!

My stock OFNA tuned pipe has a loose preasure hose nipple, after a while of running the engine it becomes harder to idle the thing since the preasure is being lost from the loose nipple and I guess I should JB weld that thing. Could be that too if not the hose, I need to get a #086 pipe anyways, I hate OFNA's stock pipe. Anyone got a spare pipe to sell me for cheap?

Yep!
It was actually just the tip.. it was shredded so it was leaking air in. What a dufus I am to know the problem but not do anything about it.
But..I got a new radio system problem.
Car will turn both sides, and brake but not accelerate! lol
I think I messed with the radio settings (JR R1) But I have no idea what to do. If I cant figure it out I think I'll just reset the whole thing and take it from there.
