roto start question
The roto start in my savage just spins. The engine isn't turning over. What usually goes bad with this and how do I fix this? The motor is an SH .28
Thanks for any help. |
RE: roto start question
When my t-maxx eazy start does this its the one way bearing causing it.
Take it out and clean the oil out of it (degrease it) If you relube it, go easy..too much and your back to slippin again. (I never relube mine) Also how cold is it where your at ? cold temps will effect it negativly too. Warm your engine a little with a hairdryer also helps. |
RE: roto start question
Thanks for the info. I ordered a new one way bearing. I cleaned it twice. It worked for a little bit then stopped working again. I read in another thread that once it starts slipping it needs to be replaced. And on the SH type engine I read its a common problem.

RE: roto start question
It's the one way bearing that went bad. I had this happen to me a few times.
Hey nice looking dog in the photo, kinda looks like my bridle English Mastiff in the face a little bit. |
