Blackout XTE blown motor

So I recently purchased the Blackout xte brushed version like 3 weeks ago and I honestly have to say I’m not really impressed. Now to start off I’m new to the rc hobby and any help or even constructive criticism would be appreciated. That being said this wasn’t my first purchase. I bought the Hosim 9125 monster truck before the blackout. The front and rear differentials broke within 2 weeks so I thought well that’s what I get for going cheap. So I started looking into something around $200 because I’m on a budget (according to my wife)! So I get the blackout because a lot of people said it was a great truck for someone just starting out with the hobby. And yes I did hear others saying don’t waste your money, save up for a Traxxas or Arma. But I gave the Blackout a try. Right out of the box the battery charger didn’t work properly. It’s supposed to light up when charging. Next the front right wheel was bent like the mold was broken that made it so driving straight was not happening. But I had the wheels from the 9125. So then I tried to trim the steering and the wheels wouldn’t turn unless driving it. The servo is super weak and that’s after adjusting it. I called the support guy and he said sometimes the chargers don’t even light up at all because they’re cheap and I should get a better charger. So I ordered one and figured I might as well buy a couple 3s batteries for it because it say the ESC and motor can handle it. Well I ran it for about 4 minutes before it started to smoke so I shut it off thinking I ran it to hard and would switch back to my 2s I had from the other truck. Well apparently it can’t take 3s cause it’s not working at all! Looking into getting a brushless setup but don’t want to spend a lot because the truck might not be worth putting more money into. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
