x factor vs mad force
 

i am looking to buy a rc truck and i was looking at the xtm x factor and the mad force. i plan to use the truck for rock crawling. and messing around with. which one would be best for it.

XTM is a better crawler overall. The Mad Force is a better all around truck IMO.

WOW. Casey. You must believe everything you read. Hey I have a bridge I can sell you. You must be new to this or a young buck. But I forgive you. Hey I happen to have a highly Modified Mad Force and the truck is great. But for Rock Crawling is gonna better done with a 4 link suspension. But if you wanna believe your right go right ahead. It's only an opinion. LOL

RC limited extended Drive shaft
8 Shocks
RC limited wheelie bar
and a ton of other stuff I think I know enough about the truck to comment.:D No hard feelings

I would get the Mad Force. Just because a truck is a better climber doesnt mean it is a better crawler. Because of the gearing in the Mad Force it should make it a bit easier to crawl with though. The articulation should be better in the XTM though. If you want to jump though the Mad Force would be the way to go.

J maxx I"m gonna play along for the fun of it. Was it stock. Of course it was b/c lets see in a Mod class race it really comes down to driver and setup. I love these comments yea I beat this that truck. I'm the Man.

Thats becuase the Mad Force probably did know you were racing him. I have a Force .25 Savage and my brothers have a Sirio Tmaxx and a Stock Mad Force. The Tmaxx get its ass spanked every time out and thats with the Sirio motor!

sigh, its one thing ot own oen, then another to watch them in person here. The xfactor is jus basically a pile of trash IMO, the mad force could definately take the steeper hills and and bumpier surfaces than the xfactor, both were stock also. Now, given you take out the sway bars on the xfactor, change the tires and foams, THEN it will beat the madforce, but talking stock vs stock and what ive witnessed many times with my friends, EHHH NEGATIVE. the xfactor gets beat everytime in every field.

well the rcca thing was trash and they tied in rock crawling anyway. the only reason the x didnt work good was because they left the swaybars on, and the stock tires are useless and should be immediatley discarded. the mad force kept up because of the lower first gear and excelent tires. And if you take the exta money you would spend on the mad force and spend that on the x(which is rtr), you will have an excelent crawler(for being nitro anyway).

lol that wasnt there when i posted mine look at the times. I like both trucks but the topic of rock crawling is what i was referring to. Im definatley sure that mad force is a better general off raoder, but not crawler. If the MF was 4 link and could supply the awesome articulation then it would beat it because of the 3 speed.

depends what you want to do skate, your oging to hvae to get new tires / inserts (or none at all) for the xfactor, remove the swaybars, and maybe shock upgrade. Out of the box, the madforce is better. Your going to end up spending the same ammount to get the xfactor to preform better than the madforce, thats why i think you should get the madforce.
