hot bodies 3.5 engine specs
 

How much HP does this engine have?
I'm trying to see if it is broke in and making full power yet?
All I have to compare it too is an OSrz and it definatlly is slower than that engine in the same buggy.
I checked the savage web site and hot bodies, did a goggle search and nothing on it's HP.

Are there different versions of this engine? need a pick of mine?

The HPI website lists a claimed HP of 2.3 for the .21bb, which is the same engine in the HB buggy.

i think the one u have is the same as the engine of a dirt demon which is same as the ofna 26....

thanks, so if my well used up OSrz is rated at 2.5 and this is at 2.3 then it should be more or less as fast in the same car, which it is not. BTW when I say fast I don't mean top speed I mean 0 to 30 MPH.

My last tank only went to 200 degrees so It's time to lean it out another 1/8:-)

I just thought of something. The clutch! Hummm, the HB clutch may not be grabing like the identical one in hte OS.I'll have to check clutch spring and see if they are the same/
