.27 or .18

Well i have a HPI nitro mt and was wonderingwhich engine to put in it. The .18 engine only has 1.9 horsepower and the .27 has 3.1 horsepower which is a lot. I think if i go with the Trinity Sirio .27 Racer Monster Horsepower 27XL which will probably get the truck to go 70 MPH but if i install the 2-speed transmission then it would go 90 or even 100. :D. But the other car i want to get is a scheumacer sst fussion which with the optional gears it can go 80+ which is great. An if you can't tell i an a speed freak always trying to get things to go the fastest and be the strongest at the same time. Or i would put a Rb concepts engine in the MT and with a RB innovations supercharger.

Qute "pay attention to the rpms...not the hp" well the .27 has 3.1 hp at 40,000 RMP. which is not bad.

I think the .27 may be way too much for the mt. I would think a truck that small would stay on its back from flipping. Do you think the drivetrain is designed to handle that kind of power??? I think the .18 will be a bit much but it will be fast and easier to handle, And not as many problems with the drivetrain!!!!!!

you can get .12 and .15 motors that go over 40k rpms, that would be your best choice.

well that engine has a lot of torque and it is a oversized engine for the truck. It is like putting a 528 hemi in a honda accord.

do you know of any company that makes engine that have about 44,000 rpm's for a .12 engine?

Skip the supercharger. Do a search.
