Best Big Block question?
 

I'm thinking of upgrading my motor in my Mammoth. I was wondering what you guys would put in it. I have an Outlaw .26 in my Savage, but I'm thinking of putting more power into the Mammoth. What is the strongest BB out there that would be reliable?? Any comments?[8D]

You mean you arent satisfied with the 50+ mph that the truck does??? LMAO
Just messing with ya man. lol. Why dont you put a Sirio .27 in that thing. Give us a review on it too.

Here's whats up. When I first started on my Savage it was the first generation Savage (,21) I had it about 2 weeks before I went with the 24/7 motor. I had it in for about 7 months and loved it, till I trashed it when my Tranny locked up on my savage and I burned it up. After that I upgraded it to the Picco .26 and love it. I'm just wondering whats the best one out now. I want the best bang for my buck. :D

Any help will be greatly appreciated.:)

As far as the larger motors go, i dont think you are gonna beat the quality of the Picco, or the Wasp. The xtm pro is supposed to be nice, but i've heard mixed reviews on it. I know there is a Werks edition picco coming out, but no release date. The Sirio .27 is supposed to be an absolute beast. However, its a PRO's motor, and should be tuned and treated that way. Maybe now that OS has announced its .18, maybe that is a sign that they are gonna do some of the LARGER uncommon sized motors now. I would love to see an OS .26, or anything larger than a .21.

power and reliability cannot be had together without paying more. SO the motor with the lowest horsepower will most likely be easist to tune and run the best. But insane-high end motors also run perfectly if you are good at tuning.
