IS IT TRASHED???
 

I just brought a second hand savage with a Picco 26 engine on it, apparently it has only been run in.

If i take the engine appart can i find out whether i need to run it in some more? mor see if it is trashed?

What other bits should i check for wear and tare.

if you look into the motor, and everything is nice and shinny... then it is all ok and new.... depending on what fuel he used... there could be some residue in there, but no big deal.... if you want to see if it is ok... take out the pistion and sleeve.... turn them upside down, and see if the pistion falls threw the sleeve... if it does... time for a new one.. if not, your ok.
