I've had good success with Maxy's 20% nitro in my Savage. I've tried Traxxas, Blue Thunder and O-Donnell. Maxy's is just cheaper and more easily available to me since my local hobby shop doesn't carry BT or O'Donnell.

Any brand should do the job. Just don't buy any stuff that some guy is mixing up in his basement. I would think that the higher you go with the nitro level, the more glow plugs you will burn up. Just keep the fuel container tightly sealed and sore in a proper place.

What is the best way to store nitro fuel, a cool, dry place? a hot humid place? Absolute zero? Upside down from a power pole? i'm clueless![&:]

Upside down, in a cool dry place, next to a freezer @ several degrees above absolute zero.[sm=tongue.gif]

Well i can say one thing, its not reccomended too change brand fuels. But good luck. I would go with O'donnel or Trinity MH.

It does make a difference!

I bought another gallon of blue thunder because that's what Dynamite recommends in my Mach and that stuff works wonders! The additive actually works and makes it possible for even an idiot to tell if it's too lean. The Savage ran well with it too, great stuff.

Only thing is it is slowly turning my engine blue inside! lol

make sure that you dont keep your nitro in the sunlight either. and also if you do change brands make sure that you dont go down in nitro % for some reason. i hear that going down in nitro content makes your engine run like crap.

I've changed fuels from Trinity Monster HP to Byrons Race without any issues, a small retune, but that could have been a temp/humidity difference.

I have changed Nitro contents, but only up...20% to 25% and 20% to 30%.
