RE: TRUCK WONT START!

I help people all the time for this question. And I have a document saved so I don't have to waste my time typing it up again and again. So all I gatta go it copy and paste.

1. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FRESH BATTERIES In EVERY ELECTRIC
COMPONENT OR MAKE SURE THEY ARE CHARGED (Including the glow plug starter)!!!
Test the glow plug
and make sure it works.

2. Ok this is what you do. Take out the glow plug and drain it
of all fuel. Put the glow plug back in and start it. If it starts then dies then that is not the problem .

3. If you find that step 2 is not the problem then the next thing
the it most likely is the idle needle is set to low. Turn in just a bit
to the left and see if it starts. If it does and stays started for a bit longer then turn it a bit more (not to much).

4. If you do that and it doesn't work then the low speed mixture needle
it to rich so turn it to the right a bit. If that doesn't work (It should by now)
then check for blockage in the fuel pressure line.

5. If there is no blockage in the fuel pressure line then check for leaks in the fuel lines and the engine.

6. If you find none then I hate to say it but it is time for an engine rebuild...

Try adjusting the low speed needle valve. If that is set too lean, the engine will hesitate and die at idle. This condition will also make it hard to start. Try turning up your throttle trim when trying to start it. It's a good idea to set the unit on something to keep the wheels off the ground. Good luck.
