If you're going to race, buy the Revo. If your going to bash, buy the Savage. The Savage SS has a little more power, it has purple shocks, ribbed aluminum pipe and un-assembled.

i can tell you are a newb. so am i. i would recomend the savage .25. it comes assembled and the servoe is really easy to get ready. i think you should go with the .25 because i got it and i havent had bad luck with it yet (besides th freezing temperatures). the ss is good if you know what you are doing. but you DO have to buy your own radio. it will take some time to get it up and running and there is a much greater chance for error in the build up. go with the RTR.

Every time I goto the hobby store I play with all the trucks.. The Revo is always covered in drool....

Im a new guy to nitro too. I would suggest doing alot of reading, research before you decide. Ive been reading in this and a few other sites for a few weeks now. dont go by what this guy or that guy tells you. just read the info at hand, there is tons of it....;)

it depends what you want to do with it. If you want to race I would get the revo, but for bashing the Savage would be a better choice. The Revo is a better all-around better because you can bash and race with it. I think there is a new big block covert for the revo {if its not already out} man, you wanna talk drool[sm=tongue.gif], he is drooling not sticking his tounge out you

try to wait for the savage 28 that they said gonna hit the hobbyshops in late january or early feb..and also turn off that caps lock dude;)..whats with the caps lock being on these past days hehehe
